Prague, Czech Republic, 20.06.2017- The Chamber attended the 5th annual Export Festival CZ 2017, which took place 14–15th June 2017 in Křižíkovy Pavilions, Exhibition Centre Holešovice, Prague, Czech Republic. This event is an informative and networking parade to support international business cooperation. It is designed for Czech enterprises wishing to find partners abroad, as well as for foreign enterprises interested in penetrating the Czech market or finding new partners among Czech businesses. Attendees had a chance to see exhibits from more than 30 countries worldwide.
The first day started with welcoming speeches, followed by embassies’ presentations promoting business opportunities in their countries. Ing. Vladimír Bärtl, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in charge of the Section of the European Union and Foreign Trade, appealed to institutions and enterprises alike to not only discuss but also act. Commercial Counselor from Turkish Embassy, Mr. Abdullah Acar, presented on the status of the Turkish economy and its extensive export opportunities. Mr. Acar mentioned the volume of trade between the Czech Republic and Turkey has been steadily increasing every year.
Vice Chairman of the Chamber, Mr. Alper Özmert, and Member of the Board, Mr. Yalın Yüregil, introduced the Chamber, its best practices and how it can help Czech exporters.
The second day was dedicated to B2B meetings and visiting exhibits. The Chamber discussed possible cooperations and partnerships with embassies and met with potential members and clients. They were informed about their export opportunities to Turkey and offered the Chamber’s services during their export process.
